The “Serre del Lido” are located in the most central area of Lido di Venezia facing the sea. The vaporetto stop can be reached on foot in a few minutes and connects the center of Venice in 3 stops.
By plane (Venezia VCE)
To reach Venice Lido from Venice airport, the most convenient means of transportation is the “shuttleboat” Alilaguna. The Alilaguna BLU line connects Venice airport with Lido every 30 minutes and the transfer takes about 1 hour (timetable).
Alternatively, it is possible to take a ptivate taxi,which is more comfortable and faster but comes at a significantly higher cost.
By plane (Treviso TSF)
If you arrive in Venice by landing at Treviso airport the most convenient way to reach Lido di Venezia is by using the “shuttle bus” connection ATVO (timetable) that connects Treviso airport to Piazzale Piazzale Roma in Venice.
Once you arrive in Venice, you will need to change to another mode of transportation and take the ACTV vaporetto line 5.1 (timetable) from Piazzale Roma, which will take you directly to Lido di Venezia.
By car
If you arrive in Venice by car, you can reach Lido di Venezia with your own car.
There is a Ferry Boat service that connects the island of Tronchetto, reachable by car, with the island of Lido di Venezia. Once you arrive at Tronchetto, you can board the ACTV line (orari) and arrive at Lido di Venezia in 30 minutes.
By train
If you arrive in Venice by train, you can reach Lido di Venezia by taking the ACTV line 5.1 (timetable). The vaporetto pier is in front of the Santa Lucia train station in Venice.
If you’re not in a hurry and want to enjoy a panoramic view of the city of Venice before reaching Lido di Venezia, you can take the Linea 1 ACTV (timetable) towards Lido and enjoy the picturesque setting of the Canal Grande.
